Navigating to other planets in Kerbal Space Program can be a tall proposition at first, requiring you to wait for exactly the right time to leave Kerbin so that you arrive at the destination at the same time as your destination does. Hitting a small target in a big solar system can be daunting, but, with a bit of knowledge and some tools to help find the launch windows you'll be going places in no time.
For starting out I recommend to let you calculate you phase angles, or Protractor Mod if you want to do this in game (no URL because KSP.com is having trouble)

Government agreed to pay compensation for trauma to Amanda Mellet after she was forced to obtain a termination of her pregnancy in England
Ireland has for the first time in its history compensated a woman for the trauma caused by forcing her to travel to Britain for an abortion.
Pro-choice campaigners in the Republic said the Fine Gael-led minority governments agreement on Wednesday to pay compensation to Amanda Mellet was highly significant.
Mellet and her husband James took their case all the way to the UNs Human Rights Committee after the couple were forced to obtain a termination of her pregnancy in England.
In 2013 Amanda Mellet became the first of three Irish women to formally ask the UN to denounce the prohibition on abortions in cases of fatal foetal abnormalities as cruel and inhumane.
Under Irelands strict anti-abortion laws, if Mellet and the other two women had remained in the Republic they would have been forced to give birth to babies who would be born dead.
Campaigners arguing for a referendum to repeal an amendment to the Irish constitution that gives full citizenship rights to the embryo after conception welcomed todays decision by the Dublin government.
Ailbhe Smyth, convenor of the Coalition to Repeal the Eighth Amendment and a longtime campaigner on reproductive rights, said: To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time ever that the Irish government has compensated a woman for having to leave the country for an abortion. This is long overdue acknowledgement of the profound denial of womens right to autonomy in this country.
The government must immediately ensure no other woman suffers similar human rights violations. The eighth amendment is a profound source of discrimination and national shame for Ireland. It is simply not good enough to pass the book to the Citizens Assembly and not make any commitment to undertake the necessary constitutional and legislative reforms to end, once and for all, Irelands violation of international human rights law and obligations under human rights conventions and treaties.
We cannot, as a country, continue to oversee the violation of womens human rights. Were saying that women deserve better and Ireland can do much better.
In June the UNHRC ruled that by forcing Amanda Mellet to leave Ireland for an abortion in Britain, the Irish state had inflicted trauma and distress on her.
Ivana Bacik, an Irish Labour party senator and long term campaigner for abortion reform in Ireland, said the governments decision to accept the UNHRC ruling was a crucial step towards changing Irelands abortion regime.
The Trinity College Dublin law lecturer said: The UN Human Rights Committees ruling in June of this year constituted an important acknowledgement that the highly restrictive Irish law on abortion violates the human rights of women. The governments acceptance of the ruling through the announcement of the compensation award, and Minister Harriss sincerity in apologising to Ms Mellet, are both welcome.
But we need now to see official recognition that thousands of other women are being denied their basic human rights through being denied access to legal abortion in Ireland, due to the eighth amendment to the constitution. The UNHRC ruling in favour of Ms Mellet made clear the need for us to hold a referendum to repeal the eighth amendment.

It's a case of clever sports memery meets how not to manage your brand's online reputation.
A 28-year-old soccer fan has turned michelinguides.com into something completely different from the Michelin Guides recommendations books - and the company is none too happy.
The story starts with Englishman Adam Mascall, who saw the domain was available and bought it for just $9, according to a recent Sun report. But his site, unlike the famous French guidebooks, isn't anything about restaurant recommendations or where to find the best flambé.
Mascall's take is “Michel in Guides,” referencing Michel Platini, a former French soccer star and current head of the Union of European Football Associations. It superimposes Platini's face into a series of situations involving guides - you know, like survival guides, travel guides and “Girl Guides,” a Girl Scouts-like organization. Here are a few examples:
The Michelin Guide brand is pretty ticked off, however. It sent Mascall a legal warning, and a spokesperson to the Sun that “While we appreciate the amusing nature of the website, we have to do everything possible to protect the Michelin brand.”
Mascall told Mashable he couldn't talk about the legal issues, did have this to say in an email:
I just want to say i have the utmost respect for the Michelin brand and what they do.
My website is nothing to do with what they do. I am giving the world what it wants and right now that is Michel in guides.
There are future plans that I can't go into right now.
I just hope everyone can be a part of this and together we can share a unique experience.

Medellin Colombia
The city is situated in a beautiful valley, offering mountain views from every angle. Combine the natural setting with Spring-like temperatures year round, Medellin offers a very comfortable climate both day and night.
Nightlife in Medellin is a big draw among younger travelers, as paisas love to dance, drink, and party. The women are reputed to be the most beautiful in Colombia, if not all of South America, and that reputation alone continues to attract more and more male travelers.
Most foreigners know little about Medellin other than it was the former home and stomping grounds of Pablo Escobar, and therefore once listed as the most dangerous city in the world. In the last few years, several companies have set up organized tours to cater to the tourist-demand for information on this tragic chapter in the city's history.
Best Things to See and Do
Medellin is home to Colombia's most famous artist, Fernando Botero. In the city center, you can walk through Botero Plaza and get your picture taken amongst a few dozen of his large metal sculptures.
The plaza also features the Museo de Antioquia which features some of Botero's paintings, as well as other Latin artists.
One of the reasons Medellin is a popular place for expats to live in Colombia is the metro system. Medellin features Colombia's only metro train. From the main train line that runs North/South through the city, are several cable cars (like ski gondolas) that run up the mountains to poorer neighborhoods.
These cable cars are meant to give residents easier access to the city, however they also offer a cheap and fun way to get panoramic views of the entire city.
If you prefer adrenaline-pumping activities, paragliding is available for as little as $45 per 25-minute flight.
Where to Eat in Medellin
For a taste of the local cuisine, head to Mondongo's where you can try the mondongo (tripe) soup. Mexican food is often done well, and I'm a fan of 1910 Revolucion Mexicana for the stylish decor as much as the food. And if you're craving excellent creole or north Brazilian food, head to Bonuar, which is adjacent the Modern Art Museum, and features live Blues during the week.
Where to Drink and Dance
While the bars and discotecas around Parque Lleras are always busy on the weekends, there are many more places to party with locals than the Zona Rosa. A paisa favorite is the raucous Dulce Jesus Mio, which is decorated like a mock Antioquian pueblo. Workers dress up as caricatures of typical townspeople. Get there early (9 pm), and ensure you have at least one girl with you, to get a table.
For some of the city's best live salsa music, head downtown to El Eslabon Prendido on a Tuesday night (around 9:30 pm if you want a table). If you actually want room to dance, then go to the upscale Cien Fuegos, which features the biggest dance floor in town.
Best Area for a Night on the Town
Parque Lleras is the most accessible - you can just walk around until you find a bar or discoteca that looks like fun. Or, hop a cab to nearby Barrio Colombia and you'll have a dozen different discotecas to choose from, all within a few square blocks. And you'll see fewer foreigners than in Parque Lleras.
More adventurous visitors will go a bit further to La 33, or La 70, a five-block strip of salsa bars and clubs on the West side of the city.
Getting Around Medellin
Medellin is a large city, so while you'll be able to walk around within neighborhoods, you'll need public transport to get you around the city. Bus rides, which can be confusing at first, cost about 65 cents each, while a single ride on the metro will run you 85 cents.
The metro is very easy to use, clean, and generally safe (there's security at every station and platform). Taxis are metered, and you can go from one end of the city to the other for $6-7.
Events and Festivals
In early July, Medellin hosts Colombia's annual salsa festival. The weekend event is a combination of salsa workshops, competitions, and at night, social dancing.
As the fashion capital of Colombia, Medellin hosts Colombiamoda (fashion week) every July as well. The 3-day event is open to the public during the day (a pass costs about $40), while the runway shows are invite-only.
La Feria de las Flores, the city's annual flower parade, runs from the last week of July through the first week of August. The weekends are busy with parades, including La Cabalgata horse parade, an antique car parade, and the flower parade. There are also lots of concerts and special events held during the 10-day celebrations.

Most Luxurious Coach Bus - Luxury Travel destinations in India
Ultra-wide recliner seats, conference rooms, individual tables and chillers, fancy restrooms and pantries, even a spa - these swank, super-luxury buses are geared to give air travel a run for its money
On an online travel forum, an American tourist recounts with fascination his journey from Delhi to Shimla on a state bus 20 years ago. "It started with a window seat, and ended al fresco, with me - and a few hundred other people and their livestock - on the roof of the bus. It was by far the most enjoyable ride I've had."
Having thus raised the bar for foreign tourists - by giving them, and everyone else, the everyday equivalent of a theme park ride - intercity buses have sobered up in the last decade. They've worked hard at safety and sophistication and sworn off their weakness for on-road circus tricks, ring-mastered , as was often the case, by a happy inebriate.
But not content to stop at a straight drive, superior suspension, air-conditioning and drapes, buses today offer a host of luxury features that actually rival aircraft travel. Gliding on Volvo and Daimler chassis , Wi-fi-enabled interiors fitted out with personal LCD screens and preloaded DVDs, 23-inch seats that recline almost 160 degrees, with restrooms and pantries, sometimes even a spa out back, they're far from the bile-streaked deathtraps that once took you to the hills. Some tour operators are peddling them as '7-star coaches at first class train fares' . For customers, wedged between a rock (runaway air fares) and a hard place (trains), these new liners of luxury are just the ticket.
Yesterday, Siddhi Vinayak Logistic Ltd (SVLL), the commercial vehicles manufacturer introduced its ultra-luxurious '7-star' bus, the SVLL Connect in Surat. These vehicles have been manufactured by Scania, the Swedish automotive manufacturer, operating now in India . About 120 SVLL Connect buses will hit the roads in two years, fanning out initially to the south and west. "Keeping in mind corporate needs, the bus will house a conference room with projectors and Wi-Fi connection, and will match aircraft comfort," says Deepak Baid, director SVLL. In addition to the bells and whistles, these buses will also cut short travel time. "These 31-seaters with all the necessary facilities will reduce travel time by at least 15%," he promises.
According to TEAMPro, a market consultancy, the Indian luxury bus segment is currently valued at Rs 3,000 crore, with an annual growth rate of 15% to 20%. Having done the math, some tour operators have opted for the high road after weighing such factors as improved roadnetworks, demanding customers and limited options in transport. They're ready to invest up to Rs 3 crore per modified vehicle.
Parveen Travels, a travel company confined, till now, to south India , claims to be the first in the country to introduce online bus reservation and complete passenger insurance cover, as well as the first to offer a two-channel personal entertainment system. Mohammed A Aarif, director, says 20 % of his fleet of over 800 buses belongs to the top tier. "The luxury bus segment is bound to grow," he predicts, "Aviation prices are rising and not everyone prefers trains and tickets are hard to come by," he says. Parveen recorded a growth of 22% last year.

"We see a major surge towards bus travel with more luxury coaches coming up for intercity and interstate travel," says Mohit Grover, Inventory Manager with the ticketing company Redbus.in, one of the many that have emerged to meet the market. Of the 30,000 bookings a day, 70% account for luxury buses at Redbus. "Air travel is still not the preferred option for shorter routes which can be covered in 6-10 hours by bus because of the price difference . So, those who want a comfortable journey and don't mind paying a little extra, luxury bus travel is becoming a viable choice," he says.

In which John Green teaches you about Kurt Vonnegut's most famous novel, Slaughterhouse-Five. Vonnegut wrote the book in the Vietnam era, and it closely mirrors his personal experiences in World War II, as long as you throw out the time travel and aliens and porn stars and stuff. Slaughterhouse-Five tells the story of Billy Pilgrim, a World War II veteran who was a prisoner of war, and survived the Battle of the Bulge and the fire-bombing of Dresden, goes home after the war, and has trouble adapting to civilian life (this is the part that's like Vonnegut's own experience). Billy Pilgrim has flashbacks to the war that he interprets as being "unstuck in time." He believes he's been abducted by aliens, and pretty much loses it. You'll learn a little about Vonnegut's life, quite a bit about Dresden, and probably more than you'd like about barbershop quartets as a metaphor for post traumatic stress.
